As many of you have probably noticed, an noticed me really, My Leaf is currently broken. I’m working on a solution.
Nissan has launched a “new” app, API and accompanying services. The new app is called ‘MyNISSAN’.
Where I’m at is that I got the new sign-on flow reverse engineered and working. What I need to do next is to dig a little deeper into the new API. For that I am looking for any kinds souls who want to lend me their account for testing and further reverse engineering. Once I got this I think restoring My Leaf to be fully functioning is fairly easy and straight forward. Also dartnissanconnect will of course also be part of the restoration. Any community projects using that for integrations like Home Assistant should be able to function again. As it’s all open source I guess other client implementations can take advantage 😁
An interesting tidbit is that My Leaf could quite possibly soon be supporting all Nissan EV models. Maybe we need a new name… certainly not My Nissan?
